House in Mszana Dolna — Completed Project

Interior design project for a house in Mszana Dolna

This house in Mszana Dolna combines the representative character of a large living area with natural materials and warm lighting. The living room, dining room and kitchen form one open space, with a kitchen island and a striking fireplace wall as its central elements. Large glazing opens the living area onto its surroundings.

Stone island and a representative living room

The kitchen island was finished in stone with a bold structure and forms the visual centre of the living area.

In the living room, attention is drawn to the monumental fireplace wall and the staircase leading to the upper floor. The stone used on the staircase wall also appears in other parts of the house.

Staircase with illuminated steps

The staircase is one of the strongest elements of the project. Its simple, contemporary form was paired with a stone wall and lighting placed beneath the treads.

Interior architecture in the Podhale region

This is an interior design project for a house in Mszana Dolna, where modern architecture was combined with natural materials and bold stone elements.

DWACONCEPT is an interior architecture studio based in Rabka-Zdrój, designing interiors for houses and apartments in the Podhale region, Zakopane and Nowy Targ, as well as in Kraków and Warsaw.

The project was carried out with design supervision by an interior architect through to the very end of the finishing works — see also the design and visualisations from before the completed project.
