Night Zone, Villa in Zakopane

Night zone in a villa in Zakopane

The night zone of this villa in Zakopane combines contemporary elegance with the use of wood and stone characteristic of mountain interiors. Roof slopes, timber ceilings and large glazing give the rooms a distinctive architecture, while a light colour palette keeps the interiors light and calm.

The bedrooms were designed as places for winding down. Natural wood forms a warm base, while stone surfaces, graphite elements and glass cabinetry give the whole a modern character.

Bedrooms beneath the roof slopes

The most distinctive element is the bedrooms built into the geometry of the roof. Timber-clad slopes create cosy, almost cocoon-like interiors that, thanks to large glazing, still stay open to the surrounding nature.

Bathrooms with a view

The bathrooms combine strongly textured stone with light ceramics and black fittings. Bathtubs placed by large glazing underline the interior's relationship with its surroundings and let natural light become part of the arrangement.

Interior design project for a night zone in Zakopane

The night zone was designed as a calm counterweight to the more representative living area and the extensive relaxation zone. These are interiors full of natural materials, soft light and mountain character, delivered in a modern form.
