Apartment in Kraków, 22 m²
Loft-style apartment, 22 m², in Kraków
This compact, 22 m² apartment was designed in a bold, loft-style aesthetic. A brick wall, black steel elements, dark wood and industrial lighting create an interior with a strong character.
Despite the small footprint, the space was organised so a single zone could serve several functions. A mezzanine made additional use of the room's height and carved out a separate sleeping area.
Living room with a brick wall
The main part of the apartment is dominated by brick. A light sofa and plants bring softer elements into the interior, while black accents underline the loft aesthetic.
Industrial lighting and the black steel structure of the mezzanine are also distinctive features.
Mezzanine and bar zone
Beneath the mezzanine, a functional kitchen and dining zone was designed. Black cabinetry and a wooden worktop create a compact but striking annex.
The mezzanine's steel structure doubles as a railing and a decorative element, underlining the height of the interior.
Bathroom in a light colour palette
In contrast to the dark, industrial living area, the bathroom was kept in a lighter colour palette. Simple fixtures and light tiles help preserve a sense of larger space.
A small apartment project in Kraków
The project shows how to make functional use of a small footprint. The 22 m² were divided into zones without creating heavy, enclosed rooms, and the mezzanine also made use of the apartment's height.
